Named after the mythical cat of Arthurian legend, Chapalu draws from landscape, distance, memory, and the emotional weight carried by small but defining moments. The music blends intimate songwriting with textured, cinematic production shaped by coastal stillness, analogue warmth, and nocturnal atmosphere.

At the center of the project is restraint rather than spectacle. Songs are given room to breathe, allowing emotion, ambiguity, and reflection to surface naturally.
